The LAW OFFICE

The high rise building was chosen by Chris Larabee as a front for the LAW men. Here, in a formal setting they meet with clients, potential clients, and officials from the State or City, to conduct work.

A glass window faces Westward, overlooking the bay. Along this wall, Buck, Josiah, and Nathan have their desks. Senority rules.

Ezra and Vin each have a spot of their own in which to work along the East wall.

Along the North wall are two doors, a window situated beside each with blinds covering them. The left, Chris Larabee's office. The right a conference room.

JD Dunne also keeps a desk here at LAW as well as at the Boarding House when the situation calls for his expertise.

The LAW Men

Chris Larabee: Senior Private Investigator

Joined the military under the sway of his best friend Buck Wilmington as a way to fund their college and learn a skill. His speciality was interrogation. When his time was up, Chris went home and married his high school sweetheart Sara. Later, after the birth of their son, he was called back. It was while fulfilling his obligation that his wife and son were murdered. It was also during that tour he met USMC Rick Simon. After his job with the military was finished, Chris went back to San Diego to hunt the killer of his family. Not receiving the attention from the police he felt this case deserved, he joined up with Rick and his brother AJ Simon in their investigation firm, Simon and Simon. After an altercation with Rick, Chris decided to step away from Simon and Simon to form his own agency, feeling he would work better alone.

Buck Wilmington: Sr. PI...LAW Mechanic

Best friends with Chris...had a brief falling out after Sara died. Buck signed on for another tour of duty where he later meets Nathan. Once home, he takes to the beaches using his savings to open a surf shop. After hearing of Chris' quest he seeks Chris to join him in the Investigation firm. After much persuasion, Chris hires the rogue/mechanic.

Josiah Sanchez: PI...Security

Josiah was a bouncer at Katmandu's, a bar Chris frequented. Bounced Chris one too many times. He later joined LAW at Larabee's request

Nathan Jackson: PI...Forensics

Nathan was a medic in the Army where he met Buck during one of his many trips to the infirmary. Nathan and Buck met back up years later after...Buck took a trip to the local ER. Nathan soon joined LAW at Buck's request.

Vin Tanner: PI...Sharpshooter

Vin Tanner met Chris when he worked for Simon & Simon. The now Ex Probation Officer's last duty was seeing to Ashley's transistion to LAW. Persuaded by Chris, Vin joined LAW and subsequently, recommended Chris bring Ezra aboard as a back-up undercover agent.

JD Dunne: Communications/Computer Tech

Caught and nearly convicted of tapping into Government mainframes, JD Dunne is brought aboard as part of the Judge Travis' First Time Offender's Redirectional Program. JD has all the intelligence to fill an Olympic size pool and cocky to boot. JD arrived the same day as Ezra.

Ezra Standish: PI...Undercover AgentTech

One of the last of the seven to be brought aboard, Ezra Standish was brought aboard by Vin Tanner, his "watch dog" at the time. Picked up by the Probation Officer for peddling in the streets, Ezra agrees, albiet grudgeling, to join LAW in order to avoid any legal ramifications. A smooth talker, quick thinker, Ezra is a natural for undercover work.
